What is Sound Healing?

• Sound healing, also known as sound therapy or sound bath, is an ancient therapeutic practice that uses sounds and vibrations to promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and enhance overall well-being.​

• Everything, including our bodies, vibrates at specific frequencies, and when these frequencies become disrupted due to stress or illness, sound healing can help restore balance.

• Sound healing works by utilizing frequency and vibration, influencing brainwave patterns through brainwave entrainment, and employing the principle of resonance to encourage self-healing. 

​

• Sound healing is practiced in different formats, such as group sound baths where participants are immersed in sounds, individual sessions tailored to specific concerns, and specific therapies like tuning fork therapy and vibroacoustic therapy.

• The benefits of sound healing include relaxation, stress reduction, improved sleep, emotional release, enhanced mental clarity, and possible pain relief. Studies have shown benefits in reducing stress and anxiety, and many individuals report positive outcomes from sound healing. I recommended you consult a healthcare professional before starting any new therapy, especially if you have existing health conditions such as pregnancy, extreme illness, cancer, or use a pacemaker.
